The tour offers a quick introduction to the Vatican Museums. The start was delayed waiting for 2 people who did not arrive. If people can't make the start time, others should not have to wait and get a rushed tour.

It was pouring rain on the day I had this tour booked. It would be nice to have an alternate meeting point inside somewhere on a day like that. We stood outside for 45 minutes while getting everyone organized.

Not bad, but the tour group was too big.

The guide was excellent, but there was to many visitors in the Vatican even when we Met at 9 in the morning

Very good guide but Museum & Sistine Chapel very busy - difficult to spend time in any area as very crowded.

Our tour guide, Salvatore, was excellent. We found it difficult to find the location to meet him, however. With the size of the crowds, the search for the meeting place on the steps was not fun. Why was there no map on the voucher confirmation sheet?
[Tickitaly responds: unfortunately places can be very crowded - especially during summer - but we provide a map together with your vocher and an emergency local number to call in case you cannot find your guide.]

The Group had 40 people in it which was way too large. The tour guide Fabio was wonderful, but his umbrella (flag) was too discrete to find him amongst the thousands in the Vatican.

The tour guide was great! It was entirely too crowded!! It was hard to move and the spiritualness of the Sistine Chapel lost its appeal because of the crowds!! I would suggest reducing the number of people touring in a day.

Buying the ticket you skip the line: that's nice. But the advantages stop there: the Vatican Museums were so, so crowded that it was very difficult to appreciate the works of art with any pace and leisure. At the Sistine Chapel you have two (memorable) minutes and that's it: the guards are already shooing you to go on and clear the space asap, via via! Why don't they organize the visitation like at the Uffizi or the Galeria at Firenze (which I also both the entraces with Tickitaly), with a limited quantity of people entering every 30', so as to let everyone really appreciate it? OK, one would have to book in advance; but that's better than paying a lot and not really have time to appreciate! It was summer: I do not know if that's any better on winter.

Unfortunately some of our group got lost, and were not found despite the guide having left us to try to find them. This may have meant that the tour was more rushed Than normal, but I would have liked more time in the various rooms leading to the Sistine chapel. It was great, though, to be able to avoid the queuing outside, although I'd hoped the guide would have pre-bought the tickets, whereas her buying them took up quite a bit of our time.

It would have been nice to have the tour guide to take us right through instead she left us at the Sistine Chapel and did not even take us to the door. We notice when existing the sistine chapel that their were tour guide inside (of course not speaking) but they were exiting to the right of the door where everyone else who was not part of the tour left to the left. So we wondered if were were sold short of all the art works etc espeically walking through to the sistine chapel.

I was lead to believe that our tour was early so we would miss the crowd. This was not the case. Often the group could not hear the guide because another group was on the same 'channel' and their commentary came through earpiece.

Very organised but at the Sistine Chapel we got lost and went out of the wrong door and was not able to join the group anymore, got to be specific which doors and exit etc

The tour group was too big. Very difficult to hear and keep up with the guide. It was a busy weekend and it was very crowded our guide was great, but would have enjoyed it more if the tour group was smaller

The day of the St. Peter Basilica closed down. And I could not receive a refund for my tickets. The Vatican itself was interestingly and our tour guide was nice.

The experience was a disappointment overall as there was insuffient time to enjoy many of the main attractions- we felt like we were being rushed through due to the high/excessive volume of people. We appreciate that these factors were specific to that particular venue as we did not encounter the same experience on other tickitaly tours.
