Lake Como, private day trip

A private (as in just you and your group, minimum two people) excursion from Milan that heads off after breakfast (by train) to the chic town of Como. You'll be shown around by your own tour guide before being escorted for your boat trip on this most famous of lakes, stopping off at one of the delightful small villages looking onto the water. You'll head back to Milan at about 5.00 PM.

Loved this. Unfortunately with Easter being so early this year we missed out on going to Bellagio which we would have loved to seen. And there was no coffee break at a local silk store on the way back - which was very disappointing. I would have like to have got some silk.

We enjoyed the day (although we wish it hadn't been raining). Lake Como is beautiful. The fact that our guide was from Como made her commentary more personal and informative. You could sense her love for the area. We had a delightful time.

A good day trip with a variety of stops and transport (shame it rained the whole time we were on the boat!) Guide was good but the audio system did not work on the boat (maybe because we were all inside?) so we missed lots of the information
