Lake Como and Bellagio day trip

The tour heads off from Milan every day between April and October, leaving at 8.30 in the morning and returning at around 6.30 in the evening. You'll arrive (private coach) in the town of Como at around ten in the morning, where you'll have a guided visit to the town centre, after which it's some free time to further explore or indulge in a spot of shopping and some lunch (not included in price), then it's on to the lake itself for your cruise by boat to Bellagio. You'll pass by some wonderful villas and gardens, including the well known villa (now luxury hotel), Villa Este at Cernobbio.

Your stop in Bellagio will give you time to explore the many charming (and steep) alleyways, and perhaps take time for a refreshing coffee or gelato. You'll have somme free-time to explore before heading back for the return boat trip to Cadenabbia and your return trip on to Milan.

The boat tour lasts around two hours, and offers unforgettable panoramic vistas of the lake, the shoreline, gardens and villas, as well as the backdrop of mountains. The tour also runs in winter (November to March) and has a slightly different itinerary. The micro-climate and mild Mediterranean weather ensures a fine array of exotic and rare plants thrive at all times of year, and the third-largest lake in Europe is surrounded by many, many beautiful small villages.

Tours on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are in English only, those on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday are in English and Spanish, and on Fridays it's English and Portugese.
