The actual tour was excellent with the tour guide exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging. The initial organising of the tour on the street with the number of people involved was a little chaotic. It would not be difficult to make the arrangements easier for tourists when there are several hundred people to organized into groups by language, all this on a footpath with normal pedestrian traffic passing as well.

Tour guide was very good. The tour itself was very interesting and a good experience over all. I Didn't enjoy having to look at picture board to get explanations.

A little disorganized at the Foot Locker rendezvous point - took about an hour to figure out who our tour guide was; but once we got going we bypassed a line up that was at least 6 hours long - so the 1 hour delayed seemed insignificant in comparison. The tour was great, as was our tour guide!

We would have liked to stayed in the Sistine Chapel longer than our tour allowed.

A beautiful building so much to see the tour we took was very long and it was extremely hot and crowded. The only disappointing part was that for all the hours of walking around we had such a short time in the Sistine Chapel which was the most special part. We would have liked alot longer to appreciate and really take in the whole place.

The guide (Michelle) was great and the tour was good. But the group was 15 people! On the web site was told group max size was 8 people!!
[Tickitaly responds: As stated online the Exclusive Extended Vatican Museums & Gardens Tour is a '5 hour guided tour of the Vatican City in a group of up to 16 visitors']

I shouldn't have picked Easter!! OMG the crowds - but this was not the issue of the tour guides. they were patient, helpful and moved us through the tour with ease. So informative. Only pity was not being able to see St Peters due to Mass set -up - perhaps something that could have been alluded to for others visiting during Easter, but overall wonderful

The girl bringing the tickets was late which was stressful waiting not knowing if she was going to arrive or not. She spend two getting the tickets and that was that. Better understanding of what the tickets gave at time of buying would of been helpful.

I know the whole world wants to go to the Vatican when they are in Rome and see the Sistine Chapel, but it was really busy. The areas covered by this tour were many, and we were rushed through all sorts of great rooms with hardly time for breath. This is a shame as there are many statues that deserve more than a trot past but it wasn't to be. The idea that you must enter the Sistine Chapel in silence is a joke. It was so noisy, and much of that was caused by the guards shouting out to be quiet! It was very difficult to appreciate the wonders of the paintings in this manner. However, I am still thrilled that I have seen them. Numbers really should be limited to a more manageable level by timed entrance and exit. This would make it a far more pleasant experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, and gave a great insight into the works that we would see, before we started the tour inside. It would have been really easy to lose her and it was so crowded. On tours elsewhere, our guide has said things like "I am waiting at the far end of the.... by the door" etc so that you knew where she was. I guess in the Vatican they don't want you to stop at all as this could block up the corridors! Even so, if you are short as I am it was sometimes difficult to keep up and see her umbrella or whatever it was she was holding up.

Alert people to the fact that they may have to leave rucksacks and can only collect them at the end of the tour by walking all the way round the outside of the Vatican.
[Tickitaly responds: In our faq section we remark that "Enter with any bags, backpack or luggage measuring more than 40*35*15 centimetres. These need to be left at the cloakrooms. Any bag or backpack smaller than this is OK, as long as not overly cumbersome, and nothing may ‘stick out’ by more than 15 centimetres"].

The visit was great and the guide was very calm and clear on all her explanations. My friend and I enjoyed it all very much. The only tiny problem was that we wanted to visit the Basilica going from the Sistine Chapel, but we got there when it was already closed, so we had to go back to the St. Peter Square to reach the Basilica. Apart from that, it was a great experience.

Because of the crowds and the noise the museums and Sistine Chapel felt rushed and only and only basic info could be shared. Our guide, Frado made us feel welcome.

Guide was extremely knowledgable however we booked an English tour for 4 people and all of us struggled as the guide had a very strong Italian monotone accent which was difficult to follow.

It was a bit too long and emphasized mainly on the artwork instead of the Vatican. Would have been better if there was more tour and information on the churches and place instead of the artwork.

Kept being rushed through each area of tour. I understand that there is lots of people but you weren't given time to appreciate the art in the museum. Group size was good. Less time spent at the start on the big tv screen. Allow more time in Sistine chapel.
