Spectacular..... although our tour started a bit late since the staff at the Colusseum did not let us in by the agreed tome. Tour guides were fantastic and well informed. it was worth every cent.

The upper and lower tour of the Colosseum was incredible. In fact, it was one of the highlights of our trip that took us to Rome and Athens. The young Italian lady who served as our guide spoke excellent English. Her education that was Art History added to her knowledge of the Colosseum. When we were there, we arrived about an hour and a half ahead of time. Although you are able to take the "left" fast line to the ticket "reservation" desk to pick up your tickets after passing through security...that left "fast" line still had a bit of a line....not quite the same as the right side....but, it still took awhile to get to the desk. We had plenty of time...but, I would not suggest waiting until the last minute to get there. You will not walk right up to the "reservation" desk...you will have a line. We couldn't have been more pleased with Tickitaly...take your reservation and show your passport to the reservation desk and you too will be going behind locked gates. You will see levels at the Colosseum while others tourists enviously ask...how or why do they get to go into that area or level?

This was a great tour. If you choose the 'dungeon' tour, you will get access to all the area's out of bounds for all the other tours. There were only 12 people on our tour which made it much more personal. Our guide was very enthusiastic and full of knowledge which meant our tour was a little longer than advertised but we enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recomended. Again, Tickitaly tours do not have to queue.

Deborah, our tour guide, was exceptionally good. She was informative, knowledgeable, and made the past relevant in today's world. Her ability to provide historical perspective puts her in a class with university professors. The other guide, who took us through the dungeons and higher level of the Colosseum with the larger group, was good, but her English made understanding her difficult at times.. With Deborah, the only regret we have is that our time with her was too short.

This was our second time in 2 years doing the dungeon/ Colosseum tour. Our tour guide was fantastic, very engaging and informative. Our first time to Palantine Hill was very interesting and informative. Would definitely recommend

We absolutely loved this tour wander thru the historical sites on the way to the colosseum was fantastic, the tour guide was amazing with such passion and knowledge and then being handed over at the colosseum to another tour leader only to find she also was incredible and passionate great day bglish and both guides we equally AWSOME

Great guide.. Very personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Only thing I could say would be to make it a little clearer on the meeting point inside the Colosseum. The staff inside the Colosseum directed us upstairs when our meeting point was downstairs. Other than that it was easy.

Absolutely LOVED and highly recommend this tour. I took my 11-year old son and it was the highlight of our trip. Have already recommended to everyone I know that this is how to see the colosseum!
