These reviews relate to the various tours of the Colosseum Dungeons that we offer, and have offered in the past. Until the Belvedere top levels were opened in 2017, the dungeon tours were actually provided as a combo tour of both the dungeons and upper levels, hence the references in some reviews to upper levels!

This trip was the highlight of our holiday. The radios were clear, the guide very informative and made the whole experience very enjoyable. My only regret was that I did not book a tour of the Vatican with tick.italy as I'm sure it would have been much better than the tour I did book! Would definitely recommend

Our tour guide was Elaine and she was fabulous. We had three children on the tour and our youngest asked questions all day and Elaine answered every one of them. We learned so much and were really excited to be allowed on the platform and up so high at the Colosseum. Recommend highly!

This was a brilliant tour, with a lovely, friendly and knowledgeable guide, Deborah. I've been to the Colosseum before, but going to the underground part and the third tier really brought it to life. The Forum was also incredibly interesting. Not the cheapest way to visit the Colosseum, but I'm really glad we did it. We actually had a 3.5 hour tour, but at the end Deborah thanked us all, said goodbye and raced off before we could give her a well deserved tip.

WE really enjoyed this tour. We learned a lot about the forum and colosseum and loved the dungeons as well. You could also tell how much the tour guide enjoyed telling us the information about the sites.

Tour was with an official colosseum tour guide and she was excellent. Do not visit the colosseum without paying to do these extra tours as you will only leave disappointed. Standing in the stage on the arena, seeing how horrible the conditions were in the dungeon and going up to third level for a great, crowd free view are all things that shouldn't be missed.

My son and I loved the Colosseum tour and he was really amazed that we were able to enjoy the top level and the dungeons without a huge crowd around us. Great tour guide who really knew the history and interesting anecdotes about the sites.

I can't remember our guide's name but she was absolutely marvelous. Going in a small group was definitely better than being part of a larger tour group. The tour of the Colosseum (even though we were part of a larger group) was still fantastic and it was great that our tour guide gave us further information before we proceeded to the forum. The guide's knowledge of the forum was also amazing. My husband and I had an amazing time on this tour and would highly recommend this tour again.

Slightly wet with rain but none the less we had a small group once again with our guide who took us around the outer parts of the colosseum and Rome forum. We were passed over to a colosseum expert for the underground and top level tour who was very intuitive. Would recommend this tour also.

This tour is really worth doing, you get to skip the lines and go to restricted areas in a small group! The guides knew a lot of info, pointed out details that you wouldn't notice on your own and answered questions! Also we got great pics away from all of the crowds!

Amazing tour! Took us to places that normal tourists would not be able to gain access to. Seeing the lower and upper levels was awesome - I would highly recommend this to anyone who visits the Colosseum. Must-do tour!

Where do these reviews come from?: About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?: Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.

Where is my review?
