This was my second visit to the Colosseum. The first time was with a group and the ease of entry was noticeable compared to going without a group. I don't think it is anything Tickitaly can fix, the Colosseum needs a more efficient system.

I was unable to download the audioguide, and had to end up spending additionally on the audioguide at the venue. So probably something could be done about that in the future!

We had a 10:30 slot and per your instructions we got there 90 minutes early. There was barely any line that early in the morning so we had to wait for nearly 90 minutes because we couldn't leave after going through security and they wouldn't let us in until exactly 10:30. Very irritating and a waste of time.

Visit was just nice. Startet up eith Colosseum early in the morning and went on to Palatin and the Forum before the lines for security became to long. Could not play the audioguide inn off-line mode. So we really missed a good guide.

We bought open tickets and we're surprised by the extraordinary long lines. After stranding in Line to Exchange our voucher, we got an entre ticket for 3 1/2 hours later.

The site is absolutely great. But the audio voice is too plain, no sentiment leading less and less listening interest. Also there is no physical numbering in the site matching the audio guide section which makes it hard to follow what guide is talking about

I was expecting much more content on the audioguide. The content that was there was pretty good, but there really wasn't much. Also, the navigation through the app was very poorly designed. Finally, it would be helpful if the audioguide was designed as headphones, so that you could listen while still being able to use your camera.

With the title audioguide on site I thought this was the case for both colosseum and forum & palatine but this was not true. We got audioguides in the colosseum but had to pay extra (not too much) for forum & palatine. It was a great visit, very interesting. Only the long tour of the forum was really very long. They said about two hours but when you listen to every number it will take more than 4 hours!

I enjoyed the visit tremendously. Still the Audio guide was not as easy to use as anticipated. It took me and my friend a while to figure out how to use it. In the beginning it seemed to repeat the same information over and over again. We thought we had to return the audio guide after our visit to the colosseum. There were return stations everywhere around the colosseum. So we had no audio guide for the forum and Palatine. Something we would have enjoyed with a remark to hold on to the audio guide until the entire tour was finished.

Unfortunately, we didn't have the luxury of waiting the lines at the Colosseum so we were only able to use the Roman Forum portion of our ticket. We very much enjoyed our experience in the Roman Forum.

The queuing was too long, the audio guide was very good. An option to buy a hot drink whilst queuing.

It should be clearly stated before purchasing tickets that if you choose a particular day, you do not have flexibility, you have to go that morning to get a particular assigned time. Otherwise everything was as stated.
[Tickitaly responds: we are sorry if you did not get the information from the website of course, but we must say that it is stated on the booking page, we have different kinds of tickets and right below the one you chose where we state "Your ticket, once collected, is only valid for the Colosseum at the time confirmed by the staff on the spot, and for the Forum and Palatine at any time on the day of your booking or the day after" and it is also stated on your voucher. Unfortunately this is a procedure related to the kind of ticket booked and it depends entirely on the Colosseum staff, so the only thing we can do is to be clar on the booking page and on the voucher, there are also other kind of tickets, with a slighlty different price where you can choose your own time to get in, as you can read on http://www.tickitaly.com/tickets/colosseum-tickets.php]

Unfortunately, I had had an accident the day before and had sprained my ankle, so I wasn't as mobile as usual. My rating is not a reflection of the site but a reflection of the my situation.

Where do these reviews come from?
About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
