Good system and easy to understand pre ticket line... must have saved an hour or so :)

Visit was enjoyable despite the crowds and generally well managed. It was inconvenient that ticket had to be collected a distance away from the venue we were visiting. I could not work out how to download audio guide - more instructions were necessary.

On the whole the visit was fantastic, really interesting to see how life might have been like back in the old days.

It's pretty clear really but due to the large crowds it can be rather overwhelming. Maybe clearer signage might help to guide those with tickets past the crowds. I can't believe that anyone in this day and age actually lines up to purchase tickets when it's so easy to do it all before hand.

We LOVED our visit and were so impressed that we were able to walk STRAIGHT IN to the Colosseum with absolutely no queuing at all! The main queue was sooo long!! Thank you! Couldn't download the audio guide though

We enjoyed our visit very much. It was very crowded, so it was hard to find the right entrance line with which to use our prepaid tickets.
[tickitaly responds: the Colosseum has made several last-minute changes to ticket pick-up points this year. We do our best to keep our details up-to-date but this is a problem that we're trying to address]

Huge advantage to enter the forum site by the gate on Via De San Gregorio avoiding the crowds at the gate and in the grounds.

It took some effort to get the right format on my mobile phone. The audioguide was great for the Colosseum. But it would have been nice to also have had one for the Forum Romanum, as entrance to this was also included in the Colosseum ticket.

Visit was fantastic, however, by purchasing tickets online I was under the impression that we could skip the queues. When we arrived we had to line up with everyone.
[Tickitaly responds: unfortunately the Colosseum has made several last-minute changes to ticket pick-up points this year. This created a bit of confusion somentimes. We did our best in order to promptly inform our clients in order to update all the new instructions. All reservations do get a priority line but it is very important to always follow the instructions carefully]

Colosseum deserves to be one of the most visited sites of the world, thus very busy with tourists all the time. However, marks and paths/ways for tourists marked clearly, altogether very professionally organized to be able to handle the amount of visitors. I expected annoying crowd but thanks to the great management of the place I could enjoy my visit very much.

we had a big problem because on 27th may it was organised the Giro d'Italia and all the transportation in that area was closed, we lost a lot of time trying to figure it out how to get there.
Another problem was the access to Colosseum entry because of the tour, we had to make a big detour and was awfull. It would have been great if the site would have sent some information regarding this event.

The colosseum itself was nice. But, here as well, we were attacked by "staff" wanting to sell us guiding. We had chosen our tickets, but they kept on going. As at the Vatikan, we thought they were staff that would help us find the entrance, but instead they kept on pushing us to buy guiding. This was a big downside of the visit, as we had done our research and booled the tickets we wanted, and had our reasons for that.

The audioguide was a little difficult to follow. But my husband & I enjoyed visit the Colosseum anyways. We listened to the guide while standing on a viewing deck all at once as to try to take in as much as possible.

The ticket and entry was fine. I was disappointed that I was unable to download the audio guide and the only way I could listen to it whilst at the colosseum was to be connected to 3G mobile data.
