We didn't use it at the site but listened to it later. There were so many people and following along would have been hard and time consuming. We went faster than I would have liked but just couldn't stand the crush of people.

The entrance line for the colosseum itself is a bit confuse, too many people not knowing where to stand in line.

We didn't have to wait as long but we still had to wait. There was a parade that day. Ticket window not open early. We didn't use the audioguide because we had a Rick Steves App.

Would have liked to be able to use it off line - Too expensive to use it walking around using my cellular.

The Colosseum was awesome but in the Paladin and the Forum, I think that it can be better marked

Did not take advantage of audioguide - used the one at the colosseum. Should have tried it.

It was really good, able to imagine the century that colosseum was taking place.

Colosseum was very crowded with lots of lines but with our voucher we purchased at home on line it made it very easy to see the colosseum with out having to stand in the long lines. Best way to do it.

It's great, however it would be nice to have some downloadable map or something to follow up more easily the instructions and references of the audioguide.
[Tickitaly.com responds: we do provide a pdf map along with the audioguide. We'll try to make it more prominent!]

The only trouble was the number of times the Colosseum changed the place where we should pick up the tickets but the overall experience was good.
[Tickitaly responds: in 2014 we received several last minute notifications from the Colosseum about changes in procedures, which we've emailed to our customers immediately.]

It was fantastic to be able to skip the long queue outside the Colosseum having booked my ticket before. I recommend doing so.

Visit was enjoyable despite the crowds and generally well managed. It was inconvenient that ticket had to be collected a distance away from the venue we were visiting. I could not work out how to download audio guide - more instructions were necessary.

On the whole the visit was fantastic, really interesting to see how life might have been like back in the old days.

It's pretty clear really but due to the large crowds it can be rather overwhelming. Maybe clearer signage might help to guide those with tickets past the crowds. I can't believe that anyone in this day and age actually lines up to purchase tickets when it's so easy to do it all before hand.

Where do these reviews come from?
About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
