Highly recommend buying tickets before travelling to Rome to view any of the attractions. This certainly saved a lot of queueing especially for the Vatican!

A fantastic experience, the Colosseum is a magical place. Buying the tickets on-line meant no queues at all, just went straight in.

We had a wonderful visit in the Colosseum and it was nice to almost skip the line. This was not tickitaly.com fault but the administration on the site. There was an queue for people with reservations.

The Colosseum should be at the top of any tourist going to Roma. Purchasing my voucher before hand saved me hours of time. It took me less than 10 mins to get my actual ticket and less than 15 to go through security. The line to purchase tickets was already over 90 mins long. This was for the middle of October. The audio guide was nice. I didn't use it at the site since I didn't want to bring lots of electronics. I listened to it before hand. The map was handy. Give yourself a minimum of an hour. If you plan on listening to the audio tour at the time, you'll need around 2 hours. I only had 5 hours in town before I had to head back to cruise ship. I had two other stops to make. I didn't get a chance to visit the forum. My ticket included access to that site as well.

The Colosseum was great. I was happy with how easy it was to exchange my voucher for tickets. The line moved very quickly.

Everything fine, got in quickly! The ticket office is adjacent to the Colosseum so it wasn't hard to find it!

all the security checks spoil the whole experience too crowded - feels like all they interested in is getting as many people in as possible

The visit to the Colosseum was fabulous. We picked a time of 9:30 in the morning and the photos we took were great. There is nothing we experienced that could be improved,all went well.

We enjoyed our visit to the Colosseum Colossally. My only advice would be this. We were with out 4 year old daughter and the 30 minute queue for the security check became a patience problem for the child. Perhaps you could accommodate parents with small children in a 'jump the queue' policy similar to that which already exists at most international airport departure gates.

WE enjoyed our visit although we opted to get a guided tour once we arrived as the audioguide was not very easy to follow

Where do these reviews come from?
About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
