Perfect that we can skip the very long line. 10 min instead of more than 3 hours. It is not clear that you can buy an extra ticket to inter the Church from the vatican museum - and that way skip the line to the church completely. We had to stand in line to times - at the museum and at the church. Please make that more understandable for future customers.

The Audio guide was easy to function, however the areas inside the Vatican were not as easy to find as one would have liked.

Found it a long walk and very busy/crowded to get to the Sistine Chapel through the museum. After a long day my feet were aching and there wasn't anywhere to sit down once in the museum until limited benches in the Chapel. The chapel itself was impressive but again very busy and cramped with strict patrolling to keep people moving and quiet.

There were far too many people in the Vatican Museum at one time. We could not truly enjoy the masterpieces. Sistine Chapel should have max number if visitors at one time- like Last Supper. Once you visit Vatican Museum you should have direct access to Basilica. We had to leave and face an hour and a half wait to get into Basilica.

Vatican is an amazing place so much to see and take in. It would have been good to have had self tour audio included in the ticket price, but a major problem . all up it was a great experience , thanks

We enjoyed our visit to the Vatican. We didn't purchase a tour which worked fine for us. It was great to skip the very lengthily queue. The Sistine chapel was very busy. We saw what we wanted to see which was lovely.

I found that the paintings often had plenty of information about when they were acquired, but very little information about what the paintings were about - I would have liked more story-telling behind the artworks. Also had the misfortune of being in the chapel when the security guards were unable to keep the tourists quiet (which somewhat ruined the feeling of 'sacred space' I was hoping to find). I greatly enjoyed viewing the architecture of the building.

The Vatican as expected was crowded, but well worth the time. Colosseum spectacular.

Much too busy to be able to appreciate the works of art, we felt herded around.

Little information on were to go at the Vatikan. Difficult to find the way both to the entrance itself, and when inside, to St P chapel. The museum was crowded. Many "helpful" guides outside, it was diffucult to know who actualle worked there and who just wanted to sell us extra guiding an so on. They were very pushy and convinsing.

These attractions are not as wonderful as I thought. We were pushed through like so many sheep. Too many tourists I suppose. The Vatican does what it can to please us all.

Make allowances for ticket refunds due to unforeseen/external circumstances
[tickitaly.com responds: unfortunately most of the attractions that we offer tickets for do not offer refunds - we make this very clear during the booking process]

This was the worst visit but it's not your fault. The museum needs to control the # of visitors. the rooms are too small for the huge crowds and the large # of groups makes the visit hell. I would recommend to anyone that they avoid this museum.
[Tickitaly responds: with an estimated 7 million visitors a year, the Vatican is one of Europe's most popular attractions. Unfortunately it can get very busy but it is one of our most popular tickets...]

Good experience avoided the queues and went straight to security. Spent most of the day there and unfortunately for security reasons the basilica was closed but there was enough to do anyway. Amazing experience

Choosing the early entry with breakfast was one of the best ideas we had in our trip. Buffet breakfast (American style) was fine, many choices, and plenty to eat. But most important, coming early allowed us to have the Raphael rooms and the Sistine virtually to ourselves. No crowds to speak of at all!

Where do these reviews come from?
About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
