Amazing art. So many rooms! Felt very lucky to have visited. We would have liked less crowds ; you could hardly move in there. Overall, very good visit !

The visit to the Vatican was wonderful, but it was very, very crowded (in May!) and the guards in the Sistine Chapel were very annoying with their continual repeated reminders of "No pictures!" and "Silencio!"

A worthwhile visit particularly to St Peter's which exceeded expectations

This was an extremely busy day when we visited due to something important going on re the Catholic church and Rome. Many locals were getting away out of town for the day! Anyway. Again, thanks to pre booking tickets with Tickitaly we didn't queue. The lines that we walked past were six abreast and more than half a mile long. There was plenty to see of historical interest but we were pushed through the Sistine Chapel pretty quickly. Once you've seen some of the statues you couldn't help feeling that you had seen them all. But the painted frescoes were something to behold.

Warnings about the hideous length of the queue would be helpful!

Overall it was okay except I had to pay for the guided tour which I did not expect.

Not these guys fault but being ushered through the Sistine chapel due to the amount of people there was not a fun experience. Didn't even get to look at the ceiling properly.

We were happy to be able to skip the line because it was very very busy that day. The e-book guide wasn't much use. You don't take an e-book or iPad to a busy spot. And to read it on our iPhone, that was a bit too small.

The Vatican experience was only ok. It was a bit over rated, except for the Sistine Chapel.

The instructions were ok, customers are supposed to go to the Museum entrance and stay to the right all the way into the Museum and just keep walking until you are stopped. I did this but there are thousands of visitors everywhere so it is a bit unclear if you're doing the right thing. I got in without a hitch, skipped the massive line, even first thing in the morning but just be aware you're doing this yourself, there are other vendors everywhere and the signs are few and far between. If you want to learn something about all the art work I would recommend a guided tour, ours was DIY.

It was extremely busy and diffult to admire the beauty . We were encouraged to keep moving and noise levels were high which we found very disrespectful in such a sacred place

A bit misleading description in the tickets, as we had to buy another ticket (plus 20 EUR/person) just to enter to Basilica back door with a guided tour group (we were not interested in the guide anyway).

very interesting in the tour but as the the Colosseum
the security checks are over the top, no chance to stop and look at the exhibits properly without getting moved on, first visited 8 years ago highly recommended it to friends but was so disappointed
just felt that the experience was about getting as many people in to make as much money as possible the difference was unbelivable

We had to wait for all group members to go to vatican museum, it took about 30 min.
We have paid the amount which included the voice over service, but in varican museum we had to pay that amount again (7 euro).

To many people, no AC and very HOT day. Inside was great art work but the lack of AC and people made it unbearable. So much to see.

Would be great if this included skipping the queue for St. Peter's as well but only worked for the museum.

Although the tickets clearly stated where to go, the queues of people waiting to enter meant you couldn't see where you were supposed to find your tickets. A clearly labled map would have been useful. We were reliant on private tour guides telling us where we should be going

We enjoyed going to the Vatican in the evening. There was no line whatsoever and we walked right in with our vouchers. I wouldn't recommend the audioguide as it was only useful in the beginning of the tour. Next time I think I'd pay for an actual tour guide.
