Pre-booked tickets avoided long queing. Tour guide and tour were excellent and very informative. Would recommend this tour.

Because we had pre booked we did not have to queue for tickets which was great the tour was fantastic

The guide was very good the only reason that i have not given 5 stars is that it was difficult to find the guide in the usual crowds at the meeting point. A bigger sign on a longer pole would have helped as we had to resort to phoning to check we were in the right place all ending up OK but we did get a bit fraught as we though we would miss the tour.

The tour was very good--it brought the reality of events at the Colosseum to life. Excellent. Actually getting to the tour point and finding which line we were supposed to be in was crazy. Different 'official' people were telling us different things. We lined up in lines we weren't supposed to be in. It is wild crowded pandemonium all around. Take the tour, but go very early to figure things out.

Excellent guide and helpful explanation. Arrived far too early. Website advised 60 minutes early but security staff turned us away and told us to return 10 minutes before allotted time. We did travel in November when it was quieter.

I did not like that I was not able to use the ticket on my phone. I missed my tour because I was trying to email my ticket to the office so that it could be printed out, even though I had the bar code on my phone. In addition, the woman at the desk who I was working with was not as polite as I would have hoped. However, the tour itself was great and very informative! I loved the use of headsets, I just wish the tour would have lasted a little longer!

The Belvedere tour was excellent. It was great to get up to the upper levels and see the building from that vantage point. Our guide was amazing and very patient with all us "stragglers".

Very good an informative tour our guide was excellent. Would have liked to have visited the dungeons etc but seems this is difficult to book.

Our tour guide was amazing with her knowledge of everything and ability to communicate with everyone. The only down fall is we felt like we ran through the Colosseum with no stops to take anything in. We are constantly moving.

The tour was very well done. I might have liked a guided tour of the Palantine Hill and the Forum as well. I thought that was what I had chosen.

The colosseum was beautiful and grand. Tour guide looked very tired but I was happy just to be there since this was a childhood dream of mine. It's too bad more of the surrounding areas weren't restored.

Where do these reviews come from?
About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
