These reviews relate to the various tours of the Colosseum Dungeons that we offer, and have offered in the past. Until the Belvedere top levels were opened in 2017, the dungeon tours were actually provided as a combo tour of both the dungeons and upper levels, hence the references in some reviews to upper levels!

Our guide on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th July, Alexandra was amazing. She was very informative, exciting, enthusiastic and engaged everyone in the group. She used her knowledge to make the whole experience visiting the colosseum, Roman Forum and Palletine Hill, a very enjoyable one and my daughter and I will definatly recommend Tickitaly to anyone visiting Rome.

Seeing the Colosseum at night is a great way to spend your first evening after jet lag! The temperature was great and we really enjoyed seeing the lift from below.

This was by far my favourite tour during my visit to Rome. Can't praise the guide enough for her knowledge and ability to make it a tour to remember. Well worth the extra to visit the restricted areas as the tour just wouldn't have been the same without it. Our guide went the extra bit and took photos for people answered individual questions.

Our tour guide was charming and provided an easy to understand explanation of the Roman Forum & the Colosseum. She was very friendly while ensuring we got to everything in the time allowed.

The tour was divided into two groups to view the dungeons ect with one group going first and the second group going 20 minutes later Would have preferred not to have to wait to continue the tour given we had children with us If there is a wait time I think the groups with children should be accommodated first so they are not waiting around in the heat

Our tour of the colosseum upper and lower levels was extremely educational and informative. The tour quide was very knowledgeable and I would highly recommended this tour. Tickitaly are a very professional and offer low cost tours and the booking process was simple A fantastic day. Thank you

This was a great way to see the Colosseum! The evening was much cooler and there was less congestion around the area because of the later hour which made the experience much more enjoyable. The information was very well presented and I would do it again in a heart beat.

The tour was fantastic. As was the guide. We were a little stressed when we arrived and had to meet the guide. It seemed like all the other guides for the other tours were around, but ours was not. We were a little afraid it had been a scam. When she arrived, everything went really exceptionally well.

Our guide was excellent! We really appreciated the photo overlays that gave us a better idea of what Ancient Rome really looked like. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting the Roman Forum and Colosseum - the guide really helped us understand what we were looking at. Fabulous tour!

The visit was excellent, the guides were very kowledgable. The headsets used by the guides and ourselves were not as good as they could be in terms of audibility fit and reliability

Fantastic tour. Maria G was a wealth of knowledge and gave an excellent tour to our group of 6. Very friendly and we all left with a much better understanding of the history of Rome....this tour is the only way one should see the Colosseum and Forum. Well worth the money.

This was a good tour. My husband, three sons (ages 16,25,11) and I went to evening tour which was perfect as the day temperatures would have made it uncomfortable and it would be crowded. The evening tour was relaxed and crowd free. My sons really enjoyed it so mom did good!

About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
