Advance ticket is a great idea. Avoid long lines. For David, we still have to wait for 30mins but better than the lengthy queue.

We very much enjoyed the visit to the Accademia and David. We thought the visit was very well done.

There was still quite a large queue here for reserved tickets, but a lot shorter than the non-reserved queue. It was fantastic seeing the David though, a must see!

Fantastic visit. Multiple lines required to trade in paper ticket and then get into the museum but the process was much, much faster than those poor souls who came without a prepaid ticket.

The statue and exhibition were both amazing. The ticket agent was very rude and un accommodating. When handing in our voucher for tickets, she would not honour the ticket for a 17 year old without seeing his passport, which was locked away in our hotel safe. The fact that you had already confirmed our ticket purchase meant nothing. We were a party of 7 and I finally just said charge me the difference. I realize they deal with a lot of people, but her rudeness was not acceptable in this situation.

Amazing and much more impressive than the Sistine Chapel ceiling paintings in Rome. Also the Accademia alllows only a certain # of people in at a time so i felt I had space and time to view fully. Unlike the Sistine Chapel in which although we were allowed to pause and getting there felt like we were cattle being hearded and it didn't matter if you were in a tour group or on your own. It was so packed, one could hardly pause to view and appreciate. The Accademia was much more accommodating.

Everything worked great except for figuring out how to exchange our voucher for tickets and, once that was accomplished which of the many lines we needed to stand in for admittance.

The David was amazing. A must see in Florence. We hadn't planned on going (hence the last minute tickets) but I'm really glad we did. Nothing too memorable other than that. Also our tickets were quite expensive through tickitaly (more than double the regular price) but we were OK with that, due to booking being last minute.

Visit to museum was very nice, the centerpiece being, of course, the Statue of David. Would recommend getting there early as it gets crowded very quickly.

Always enjoy my time in the Accademia. Just wish I could take photos like they use to allow.

The bookstore where you exchange your voucher for tickets was hard to find. Short wait to get into the museum, 10-15 min, which was good.

Loved the visit, spoiled by the lines for pick up of reserved tickets

I was told that there would be someone at the entrance to the museum who I would show my voucher to. There was, I did finally locate him, but then had to find the kiosk to exchange the voucher for tickets. Finally it took some time to find the priority queue - which was not expecting to be quite so long. I did not expect such a big queue for the priority tickets.

I would make more of an effort to let people know that they need to take the voucher you get to the ticket office. The people I was with on the tour, including myself had no idea we needed to do that.

Where do these reviews come from?
About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
