Tremendous opportunity, with a very knowledgeable archaeologist as a guide. We have been recommending it to anyone staying in Italy.

Visit was on time, informative, and much enjoyed. I was super grateful that despite the Domus Aurea website saying no visits were possible after March 8th, I was able to get tickets through this site and it all worked out.

The tour was excellent and the guide was very knowledgeable and informative and ready to answer any questions as regards to the history and architecture of the building. The tour and guide also give you an indication of just how big the excavation project is.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I enjoyed the tour very much. It was a wonderful and much anticipated visit. The guide was very professional and relaxed at the same time. The tour took more than an hour and we were allowed to take photos. Thank you for a great experience!

Make the payment function work easier. Otherwise, I don't remember anything else that I thought should be improved.

It was a little difficult to hear our very knowledgeable guide. A little louder please. The tour was amazing! We loved the virtual tour, being able to see it as it was almost 2000 years ago. The main room with the dome roof was incomprehensively magnificent! So much work to excavate!! Well done, archaeologists!!!

Because our visit was during the Rome marathon in April, and roads near the Colosseum were busy or blocked, we couldn't follow the directions you sent and got a little lost. It would have been great to have a heads up about the marathon and alternate directions. That said, we found it, arrived with one minute to spare, and thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

I didn't receive an e-book guide.
Visit was interesting and informative. Virtual reality part very different. They need to offer info book and DVD with PAL on one side and NITSC for US on other. Saw this at Colosseum book store and didn't buy because book had bent pages for only double side. Hoped Domus would have it, but no luck. Wish I had bought only one at Colosseum.

We loved the tour! The tour guide was very knowledgeable but she spoke very fast and she started the presentation on each location before everyone in the group arrived. We didn't have a lot of time to view things or take pictures before she moved on to the next thing to see.

You have no control over when Rome decides to close down the city centre because of a bike race; however, once that date had been planned for the race, it would have been so very helpful if 'Ticket Italy' could have sent a brief email message to all those who had bought tickets warning them of the extra time needed to get to the tour site. We left our hotel at 1pm, could not get a taxi and had to walk 5 kms to the Domus through traffic barriers, obstructions and thousands of people. We were actually staggered that we made it at all; however, we were extremely tired and in no mood to enjoy the tour. A quick message from you would have been so helpful. By the way, we are in our mid-seventies -- it's a wonder we didn't have a heart attack on the way!! Once there, we did enjoy the tour very much -- an incredible site and we feel very grateful for the opportunity to see it. Your process for getting tickets was a little unusual, needing to be done in 2 stages. We will have a nightmarish story to tell our grandchildren about how we got to the Domus!!

It is not possible to book the tour in German. Even if our English is quite well, there were so many information we just didn't get that fast.

Loved the Domus Aurea tour. My only fault was waiting outside for the tour to begin. It was a little chaotic and we waited for 30 mins before entry. The virtual reality part of the tour was amazing and i have recommended it to friends if they visit Rome.

We could not find the entrance for our tour in English. It was partly due to it being our first day in navigating Rome, partly because Google maps sent us astray and partly the directions could be a bit more extensive on our ticket print out. That said, the staff were wonderful about letting us join a later virtual reality tour in French, since we would not be in Italy for the next weekend. Since the French people chose English for the virtual reality and other film part, we were able to hear part of the tour in a language we understood. None of the 3 of us spoke French but the place was amazing and we still got a lot out of the tour. It was a gift to my husband who really was fascinated to experience virtual reality and so the tour was a hit, despite our missing the whole English part. Thanks.

In spite of your carefully worded directions, we still got lost as we searched the Parco Traiano. I think we were depending too much upon the map which had been given to us at the hotel. I really don't know how to improve this dilemma, but I do know of other visitors who were equally lost until some kind person along the street guided them in the right direction.
Once we arrived, however, everything went very well: the hairnet, hard hats, mystery footing. Our guide was knowledgeable and courteous. We're really grateful we had this opportunity!
