Amazing place, just wish it were smaller so we could have got round it all, lol. Herculaneum was much more manageable,

Thoroughly enjoyed both Pompeii and Herculanum, you need a day at Pompeii to see it all.

More written information boards needed at the site to enable visitors to know exactly what they are looking at

We loved our visit to Pompeii, Poppea, and Heculaneum so much that we added a visit to the archeological museum in Naples. Fantastic!

My trip was amazing, I enjoyed every minute and visited many museums. The only thing that could have improved it would have been full access to the wall paintings in the House of the Mysteries at Pompei, I was disappointed not to see these properly because they were being restored. Also the ticket office at Pompei had run out of maps, and I actually got lost in Pompei, but I didnt really mind that. A map would have been good though.

It was simple and easy. I am not sure there was an advantage in having he card for multiple sites

Everything went great and my only complaint I had was I just didn't have enough time there.

The only suggestion I have is to have a guided tour included. We tried to get a guided tour but they could never get enough people and the audio guide for pompei was useless. The audio guide was herculeum was good but pompei wasn't. The only suggestion I have is to have a guided tour included. Pompeii and Herculaneum were incredible, I highly recommend them both to anyone and everyone. The included transport was hugely valuable too as my hostel was quite far from the centre and I could take the metro everyday. I found having to stamp the card to start before using it a little confusing because I was unfamiliar with how the Italian railway system works - I could have done with a bit more info here.

This was by far the best value. We didn't realize what the Artecard covered until we picked it up.

The visit was very interesting - but there's one Point I want to tell you: it would be very helpful, if there would be more "info-Points" in Pompeii, that the visitors are know, where in the big Areal they are at the Moment. Or when there would be more plans that the visitor could see how the place looked like before Vesuv exploded. We seeked the Bordell - but unfortunately we didn't find it. Because we had no idea how to come there. But we enjoyed Pompeii very much (hopefully you know what I mean, because my Englisch is not so good!) Should we ever come to Pompeii again we will book a Guide who can explain everything.

Really found this card useful. It covered all transport and made entering the sites easy - the list of sites covered also gave me additional sites to visit
