Loved it. We've been trying for years to get in and whenever we were in Rome the palace was closed. I was skeptical about the 3-D glasses but it truly enhanced the whole experience.

The Domus Aurea was a highlight of our trip. The guide was very good and the tour was very interesting. We learned so much more about the history of Rome. Everyone should put this on their list of things to do but be sure to buy tickets well in advance of your stay in Rome. This tour sells out very quickly. I was thankful for other reviews that mentioned the entrance was a little difficult to find so did my homework in advance to find the entrance to the site.

For many years visiting the Domus Aurea has been a dream for us. The tour was wonderful. Our guide, whom we only remember as Michaela was superb. She really understands the place and what is happening now. The virtual reality feature was a great addition to her presentation.

I would highly recommend this tour. We enjoyed visiting this magnificent underground ruin with a very small group. The state of the art multi-media program was a wonderful experience! Unforgettable.

Excellent, since my last visit to Domus Aurea thy now have the visual experience that brings the palace alive, truly memorable visit. This now has to be one of Rome's major places to visit as big as the Coliseum and Forum if not bigger? so 5

I really consider this a "must-see" activity while in Rome. This was our 5th or 6th trip to Rome and we are so delighted to have finally experienced this working archeological dig.

One of the best tours in Rome! Amazing project and awesome presentation particularly the 3D segment. (Our only gripes have nothing to do with tickitaly being poor directional signage from the Colosseum and only one bench near the entrance)

The visit to the house itself was exciting and the guide was very informative. The procedures at the front gates were a bit offputting, but I appreciate the need for security.

- Where do these reviews come from?
- About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
- Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
- Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
- Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
- Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
- Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
- Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond.
