Wonderful guide and very informative tour. We appreciated the background on the ruins just in front of the Colosseum. The instructions on the meeting point need to be more clear - perhaps tell participants that it is just across the side of Piazza Venezia (everyone's instinct is to go closer to the Colosseum and if you are not familiar with the monument it is not easy to find). We asked a gladiator and he pointed it out to us!

The tour itself was awesome. We were supposed to be 15 minutes early, and everyone was, except for the guide which made us all really nervous. Once he arrived though he was very informative on the way to the Colosseum and the tour was really interesting. I'd recommend it to anyone.

There was no sign indicating the meeting point - we had to ask a few people to make sure we were in the right area. Tour guides were great.....just thought it would have been better to see the dungeon during the day....night tour was a little dark.

The nighttime tour was wonderful, but, unfortunately my headset did not work and there was no replacement available.

The meeting point was very confusing for someone not familiar with the area. Wonderful to be in the colosseum with so few people.

Colosseum was great and night time is the way to do it, however the first hour was not in the colosseum, but at other sites which wasn't advertised.

The guides were wonderful, however the tour was different than we expected. (Maybe I didn't read the description well enough beforehand?) I thought we would spend more time in the Colosseum and was expecting to see the 3rd level, which I found out later was not included because of it being night-time. I wish I had been able to pay less to see more during the daytime but all other tours were sold out.

The tour guide Rosanna was nice and very knowledgeable, but it was hard to hear her - the headsets were pretty bad

The tour began very far away from the Colosseum, there was a lot of walking prior to even getting to the main attraction. We really just wanted that tour of the Colosseum at night. When we finally got to the Colosseum, the tour guide was pretty dull. We ended up leaving early.

Wonderful experience. Alfredo was great, he knew all the history. The lass who took over from him at the coloseum was as good and knew her history. All round great people to deal with and a highly recommended experience without the huge crowds.

Tickitaly guide was very knowledgeable and timed the walk perfectly. The colosseum at night avoided the crowds and heat, very enjoyable. She gave advice on how to get home safely.

I highly recommend the night tour. We had two well-informed guides…one for the walk to the Colosseum, stopping at its exterior; the other for the interior tour. There’s something eerie and beautiful about being inside at night. I heard another tour group cheering and could imagine what it would have been like watching the gladiators in the arena.

Having said that, it was amazing! On the walking tour the guide was fantastic....clear, knowledgeable, funny, and made it very exciting! Unfortunately, she left so quickly that we couldn't tip her! Unfortunate ply the guided tour inside was very disappointing. First, she started speaking long before the group was together so you missed everything and secondly, no audio headphones so even if you were up close, she was so soft spoken no one could hear her! Again very dissappointing! But the experience was just wonderful - please pay attention to my comments! I wasn't the only ones but most won't fill this in!

About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
