This tour starts with a visit to the Accademia, home to Renaissance treasures including Michelangelo's masterpiece, the David, and works by such artists as Giambologna and Botticelli.
You'll then explore the some of the most famous parts of Florence in an exterior tour with an experienced, knowledgable guide.
You'll meet your licenced, english-speaking tour guide near the Accademia, before a priority, skip-the-queue entrance to see the various masterpieces on offer. As well as David and other works by Michelangelo, you will see works by such artists as Giambologna and Botticelli.
After your visit to the Accademia, the rest of the tour is conducted entirely outdoors, admiring the spaces and exteriors of some of Florence's most famous attractions.
Next to the Palazzo Medici and the Basilica of San Lorenzo to admire the stunning facade and learn about the historical significance of the palace, the Medici Chapels and the Medici family.
Then to the Piazza della Repubblica, a bustling square filled with charming cafes, historic landmarks, and street performers.
You'll meet the statue of 'Il Porcellino', the iconic bronze boar - don't forget to rub its nose for good luck!
Next to Piazza della Signoria, the artistic and political heart of Renaissance Florence. You'll see the magnificent Palazzo Vecchio, the outdoor sculpture gallery, and hear the background legends behind the statues that adorn the square.
While you wont be going inside, no tour would be complete without admiring the outside of the Uffizi Gallery, one of the world's most renowned art museums and hearing some of the fascinating history of the gallery.
Finally your tour ends at the Ponte Vecchio, Florence's oldest bridge. Enjoy the picturesque views of the Arno River and learn about the history of the bridge, known for its unique shops.
