Skip-the-line entrance and Cathedral tour.
Queues are often hours long - bypass them with this special access tour.
Queues to enter Florence Cathedral (Duomo), Santa Maria del Fiore, are very, very long in high season, and you may well have a wait of hours. This tour sees a full skip-the-line access to the cathedral via a special reserved side entrance. You'll then enjoy a 45 minute tour in the company of a professional English speaking tour guide, not only of the cathedral but also a close up examination of the Dome Frescoes.

Overview
You'll meet your licensed, english-speaking tour guide outside the cathedral, alongside Giotto's bell-tower in Piazza del Duomo. You'll be given an introduction to the magnificent 'duomo complex' at the heart of the city before a priviliged-entrance to the cathedral.
You'll be introduced to the wonders of one of the largest churches in the world - Santa Maria del Fiore is a reference to the lily, symbol of Florence. This is an ancient building, and your guide will explain how changes in society across the centuries are reflected in the different stages of design within the church. You'll also get to marvel with a close up view of Brunelleschi's famous cupola with its famous frescoes.
At the end of your tour you will have access to the Museum of Misericordia (without a guide in your own time).
NB. Unfortunately this tour does not currently include a visit to the Crypts.
