Medici Florence - First Time in Florence, Small Group Tour - 2 Hours

This is a small group tour - never more than 8 people - that will see you accompanied by your English speaking tour guide; the tour heads off at 10.15 in the morning and runs all year round, excluding National Holidays.

We call this a semi-private group tour because your group will comprise 2 people at minimum and 8 people at maximum - you'll enjoy being escorted around Florence as part of a friendly, intimate party.

Meeting up in the centre of Florence, in Piazza della Repubblica, you'll then stroll a short way to the heart of the city - in medieval times, as as now - and the cathedral, baptistery and bell-tower. This tour is intended to be your 'taster' of the city, so there'll not be time to enter any of the places you'll be seeing as you stroll along, but there will be no lack of detail and history from your passionate local guide - you'll be getting a true feeling for the city, then and now.

You'll discover Dante's quarter, the warren of tight medieval streets and timeless buildings; the open Piazza della Signoria and the Palazzo Vecchio that overlooks it, the Uffizi Gallery alongside the square, with the avenue through it that leads onto the banks of the River Arno and the much-snapped Ponte Vecchio.
