Explore the wonders of Pompeii in a 2 hour tour with an expert, local, English-speaking guide. After a delicious lunch, it's off to Herculaneum for another 2 hour tour, exploring the ancient ruins in the company of your experienced guide, before a relaxing drive back to Sorrento.

Overview
The 8-hour, full day tour runs on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays between April and October, and includes your transportation, an experienced, entertaining local guide, skip-the-line tickets to both Pompeii and Herculaneum, a delicious lunch, and headphones for your guided tours.
You'll have a two-hour guided tour of the Pompeii excavations in the company of your guide, discovering the public monuments, the Forum and some of the remaining Roman houses of the Pompeii ruins.
The tour then pauses at a nearby local restaurant for a delicious Neapolitan lunch.
Then back in the bus to Herculaneum, buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD, for a two-hour tour with your expert guide. Imagine the daily experiences of the Roman inhabitants, and enjoy the well-preserved frescoes, shops, public gymnasiums and thermal baths of this unique site.
You can then relax in a comfortable ride back to Sorrento.
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes, sunglasses and don't forget your camera!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is NOT RECOMMENDED for wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.
Although you'll normally start in Pompeii and then proceed to Herculaneum, the order of the visits may change without notice.
