Reservations on a guided walking tour of Ancient Rome including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill.
A fully escorted English language guided walking tour of the monuments of Ancient Rome; the tour last roughly three hours and includes entrance to the Roman Colosseum; the tour begins near the Colosseum itself and runs seven days a week, heading off at 2.30 in the afternoon during high season, 1.30 low season. The tour will end close by the Forum. Again, this is an escorted walking tour - we also offer the same tour of Ancient Rome with pick-up and drop-off at your central Rome hotel included - click here for that.
Please note that this tour is NOT wheelchair accessible.
Explore the wonders of Ancient Rome in the company of a qualified tour guide, retracing the foot-falls of millenia. The tour heads off to the Roman Forum and after exploring the surrounding area (the Curia and Reggia, the Temple of Vesta, the Arches of Titus and Constantine) is a visit to the Roman Colosseum (again, entrance ticket is included in the cost of tour and there'll be no queuing, security checks aside). Next it's on to the Palatine Hill, home of the Caesars.
We have information pages here for the Colosseum and here for the Roman Forum, but you hardly need telling that a visit to Rome would be incomplete without seeing them both. With this walking tour, you'll have the benefit of a fully qualified local tour guide travelling with you at all times. You'll usually be listening in on supplied headsets. Tours are always in English though are also given in Spanish and German, French too at weekends.
You'll need to be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before your tour starts - all will be specified on your voucher.
