From late 2019 until, for now, the end of September 2022, Uffizi Gallery tickets now include free admission to Florence’s Museum of semi-precious stones, the Museo dell’Opificio delle Pietre Dure.
The museum is located just a few short steps to the south of the Accademia Gallery (home to Michelangelo’s statue of David), and is a small museum well worth a visit, home as it is to a collection of ornately decorated cabinets, table tops and plates.
