Exhibition: ‘L’Adorazione dei Magi di Leonardo da Vinci’

Following a six-year restoration project, Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Adoration of the Magi’ returns to the Uffizi Gallery.
Commissioned by Augustan monks in 1481, Leonardo shortly after headed off to Milan causing a second work – by Filippino Lippi – to be commissioned and exhibited in its place.
Interestingly, this exhibition also exhibits this other piece as a juxtaposition.
