There are more threads out there, more forum posts, blog questions and what-have-yous regarding the Colosseum dungeon / underground / ipogei / hypogeum / lower level tours than there are notches on Silvio’s bed post.
So, short and sweet – yes, the Colosseum dungeons are open again to visitors (2012). Yes we are taking bookings. And yes, they can only be viewed (along with the upper levels) as part of a guided tour – click on one of them to view a (larger) slideshow.
