For the first time in Italy comes a chance to views a major exhibition by one of the most important ‘modernists’ of America – the show will then move onto Munich and Helsinki.
For the first time in Italy, this great historical retrospective held in partnership with the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum of Santa Fe, New Mexico, explores the complex universe of this artist who changed the history of modern art through her vision of the natural and architectural forms of the world.
Her masterpieces such as “New York Street with Moon”, from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid and “White calla with red background” belonging to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum will be shown in a reconstruction of the historical and artistic context in which she worked.
