Translating as ‘Water landscapes. Light and reflection in 19th Century Venetian painting’ this exhibition of over 70 works is explained via the title and seeks to juxtapose the styles and fashions in technique within this most evocative of subject matters.
Villa Pisani, Stra, is located a short way inland from Venice, and the exhibition (closed Mondays) is open from 9 until 8 until the end of Septemberm closing earlier – at 5 – in October.
