‘Arte forza dell’unità – Unità forza dell’arte’
Another exhibition on the theme and occasion of Italy’s 150th Unification celebrations, with art represented as the strength behind unity, and vice-versa. A notable section of the exhibition is dedicated to one Pasquale Rotondi, Superintendent of the Marche region of Italy who, on the eve of the Second World War, identified and saved from destruction more than 10,000 works of art.
