‘1900 – 1961 Arte Italiana nelle Collezioni Guggenheim’

Vercelli, ‘City of art’, is located roughly equidistant between Turin and Milan, and ‘Arca’, the principal exhibition centre, has previously been home to collections of works from the Guggenheim collection(s).
This new exhibition features works by, amongst others, Balla, CarrĂ , De Chirico, Morandi, Sironi, Modigliani, Pomodoro and Manzoni, and has a simple premise – 40 works by Italian artists, all purchased by American collectors. Visitors will be escorted by an audio guide that will also impart information on the frescoes of the San Marco Church, home to Arca.
