This is the return leg of an exhibition that was first on show at the British Museum in London during the Summer of 2010; there it was entitled ‘Masterpices from the Uffizi Gallery – Italian Renaissance Drawings’, here it headlines as ‘Figure, Memorie, Spazio Disegni da Fra’Angelico a Leonardo’.
With perfect balance, the exhibition features 50 pieces from the British Museum and 50 from the Uffizi Gallery, and highlights the increasing importance of drawing in the fifteenth century, featuring works by Leonardo da Vinci, Fra Angelico, Jacopo and Gentile Bellini, Botticelli, Carpaccio, Filippo Lippi, Mantegna, Michelangelo, Verrocchio and Titian amongst others.

As ever, when the Florence Galleries hold special exhibitions such as the above, ticket prices are increased. The extra fees are always included in our ticket prices, and are mandatory.
